I have chosen this topic because I think that this activity is essential for all of us. It is one skill that we acquire when we are little, at school, and then we practise it every day for the rest of our lives: we read papers, magazines, bills, leaflets from supermarkets, e-mails, letters, official documents, and so on. Reading allows us to have access to all sorts of knowledge and information and lets us broaden our minds.

You can read anywhere, no matter where you are. You can read at home, while you are waiting for the bus, for the train, when you are on holiday, and there are books for every occasion.
